1978. My engine is an 86. I put a brand new powerhead on it two years ago. I redid the brown interior and red carpet with white and grey. I love the boat.

umm not quite sure never really done a speed check on it. i dont think it will go 70 though. i havent really played with any props. shit i havent used the boat in 2 months. fucking new houses

:thumbsup This is a great package. Timeless woodie look and durable engine. Have had my Al Stoker rigged 1981 for about 5 years and would recommend one of these Schiada 20SS models to any boater.
hawkes24, try posting it on www.screamandfly.com, it's a great outboards forum and definitely send a letter with a flyer to Lee at Schiada. He's such a good person and I wouldn't be surprised if he knows somebody that wants a lot of boat like this for a very affordable price.

Actually it wouldn't be that bad.. It's a clamp on so no huge whole to fill in the transom.. It already has the cav plate recesses cut in the bottom of it. You'd just have to fill some transom holes, and then cut the floor out of the center of it etc..

The boat is waayyy to clean (IMO) to be cutting it up though..
