Get a 21 if you can, this coming from a guy who raced a 20 with first a blower, then later a Gentry system. With today's surf boats, you don't want to be sitting low in the water. Once at the end of the race another boat came too close, snagged my ski lines (two skiers in that race) and dragged my newly rebuilt boat backwards, putting a ton of water in it, but I was able to get it back to the beach and onto the trailer.

I was talking about his 20' V drive that I bought in 1991. I don't think it was advertised, he called and asked if I wanted it instead of a running 19' Schiada I was going to buy for $6k. Of course Joe's had no engine or transmission, and we ended up doing some trailer swapping finally for me to get the triple axle.

Yep, they had quite a few people interested I think. Up until a few years ago I still pulled Billy (the dad) at the ski races. Years back when I was skiing I used to race against him, so it was easy for me to make the call and have them hold it for Joe. I bought my Schiada from Joe back in 1991.
