Probably not the place for this but it is this Saturday in Sunland off Sunland Blvd. Old boat racer passed away and they are cleaning out the garage. And it was packed with crap. But good crap. Text or call him for the address. 562-252-6733. There is banks, raceaero, and gentry turbo parts in there also

Sorry to hear of his passing, may he rest in piece.
Looks like there's enough fuel tanks in there to run a marathon boat. Helluva lot of stuff packed into that garage.

There was a bunch of round tanks and the mounting strap/clamps for them. I would say yes but not positive on the sizes.
I called and talked the a guy. Said there was some. Supposed to text me the address. I don't do Facebook

There was one on here for sale years ago and I kicked myself for not buying it. Just oozes old school cool. Now i just need the 20 ft Schiada to put it in.
Get a 21 if you can, this coming from a guy who raced a 20 with first a blower, then later a Gentry system. With today's surf boats, you don't want to be sitting low in the water. Once at the end of the race another boat came too close, snagged my ski lines (two skiers in that race) and dragged my newly rebuilt boat backwards, putting a ton of water in it, but I was able to get it back to the beach and onto the trailer.

Thank God I'm both broke and 400 miles away 🤣
It's always sad to hear of another old school motorhead finishing their race. I loved going though garages like that with old car parts. After seeing this, pretty sure I'd like boat digging too.

The best part of going through old hot rod junk, no wiring to get in the way of glorious polished hot rod crap!

I was just talking to Joe the other day about the 20 vs 21s. That new 20 he has i think is awesome, I always wanted a 20, but living in havasu my 21RC suits me better

Even in Parker on a weekend, a 20 with a big block, transmission and turbo or blower is going to sit low in the water. I had actually bought Joe's 20 back in 1991, when surfing on the river was not a thing.

I told Joe I want first right of refusal if he ever sells. I saw the ad when the listing was 2 hours old, but it was either that boat and stay in california or move to havasu.

Besides I still have my 21, not all is lost

I was talking about his 20' V drive that I bought in 1991. I don't think it was advertised, he called and asked if I wanted it instead of a running 19' Schiada I was going to buy for $6k. Of course Joe's had no engine or transmission, and we ended up doing some trailer swapping finally for me to get the triple axle.

I have a 22 step deck with a Old school banks set up on it. I have wanted to put a gentry set up on it for years. The 20 would be the hot rod stupid boat if I ever get one.

I know that one, he pulls me skiing with it. I actually phoned my buddy who previously owned it and got him to hold it for Joe. There's more boats for sale, moving to the river is a good first step!

I have driven both, the 21's make a great hot rod as well, same bottom. You got some very cool stuff!

Ive seen the photos of you, Joe and Trevor. Ive been meaning to make it down for one of the early morning ski runs but having 2 young sons eats up a bunch of my time.

Joe mentioned that the sellers dad was known in the community, Joe made it sound like there was a ton of activity around the boat when it hit the market

Yep, they had quite a few people interested I think. Up until a few years ago I still pulled Billy (the dad) at the ski races. Years back when I was skiing I used to race against him, so it was easy for me to make the call and have them hold it for Joe. I bought my Schiada from Joe back in 1991.
